AI Powered Ergonomic Product Design for Neck and Back Health

This project addresses the growing issue of neck and back pain caused by modern lifestyles, particularly poor posture due to prolonged computer and mobile device use. Current neck and back supports are often generic and may not provide adequate comfort or alignment. This project aims to develop an AI-powered system to assist designers create personalised ergonomic neck and back support products efficiently, considering factors such as sleeping styles and individual anatomical variations.

By leveraging AI for precise head and shoulder modeling, adjusting contours for comfort, and automatic generation algorithm for a 3D-printed product model, the project will enhance the efficiency of ergonomic product design for neck and back health. A lattice-recommending system will optimize structural support, and user testing will refine materials and shapes for different sleeping conditions, ultimately transforming the design of personalised neck and back products while ensuring both effectiveness and comfort for users.
