To support Hong Kong youth who may be feeling lonely or confused, the Personal Avatar for Life (PAL) project develops both companion robots for conversation and a robot infrastructure that handles user data securely. The Robot Brain Server employs Artificial Intelligence to analyse user data and respond appropriately, creating a safe environment for self-disclosure and building a high degree of user trust.
