Dr Sareh is the Academic Leader in Robotics at Royal College of Art. He is currently a Reader (Associate Professor) in Robotics & Design Intelligence and a Fellow of Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). Sina's research develops new robotic solutions to human safety and access problems in industrial operations. He is currently the PI on the EPSRC funded project "Getting a Grip"; advanced anchoring modules for robot mobility & manipulation in unstructured environments, MedTech SuperConnector funded projects including "The Haptic Illusion" ; a programmable hardware unit which dynamically mimics the feeling of touching internal organs and "Topographies of Pain"; a technology that assists people to articulate their symptoms when they are in pain, and a Co-I on MIMRee; Multi-platform Inspection, Maintenance and Repair in Extreme Environment under Innovate UK. He holds a PhD in Robotics from the University of Bristol, an MSc in Control Systems from the University of Sheffield, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran.
