BODW 2022 Summit - AI & Life-centred Design
The BODW 2022 Summit gathered more than 90 design visionaries from around the world and presented timely, insightful conversations under the theme 'Design for Change'. It was a 4-day summit from 30 Nov to 3 Dec 2022.AiDLab was glad to take part in this remarkable event and our CEO Prof Calvin Wong was one of the speakers of the panel "AI & Life-centred Design" and introduced how fashion designers can lead AI to streamline their creative process and facilitate their inspiration.
The potentiality of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to benefit the textiles and fashion industries is viable, at the same time playing an important role in re-industrialisation roadmap in the textile industry. By extracting information from large quantities of data, the technology offers insights that backs the creative intuition with data, ultimately turning industrial chains into more efficient, sustainable, and personalised one.
