Join us for a seminar featuring a demonstration of AiLoupe, a licensable digital tool from the Royal College of Art, London (RCA). The Intelligent Design System for Innovation project is developing a Sensory Materials Library (SML) that aims to make the sensory properties of materials more accessible.
The team will demonstrate AiLoupe, which uses image-based material classification to showcase these sensory properties by accessing the SML database. The seminar will include research background on ‘fabric hand’ and sensory perception of materials highlighting the current challenges within industry requiring haptic response, and how the research and tools enable human intervention and creativity, and so permit a responsive manufacturing process, harnessing implicit, embodied knowledge to enable distributed and democratic design.
Don't miss out on this chance to know more about the AI-driven design tools. Seats are limited, so secure your spot today!
