AI-Driven Pattern Making System for Fashion
This project is extended from previous research project Artificial Intelligence-based Fashion Design Assistant (AiDA) which focused primarily on intelligent interactive fashion design, culminating in design sketches that were separated from apparel production process so as to address the comment “Enhancement of AI-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion System (AiDA) for other production processes could be considered.” of Follow-up Review of ITC. This project will develop AI-Driven Pattern Making System to generate production-ready 2D sewing patterns and convert them into 3D garment models from the AiDA’s sketches.
Code-Create Limited, a spin-off company of AiDLab, has been formed to market AiDA and SARA.
