Dr Ali Asadipour is the Academic Lead of the RCA's Computer Science Research Centre (CSRC). His expertise lies in Intelligent Human-Computer Interaction (IHCI), ranging from theory to design to implementation of novel immersive, intelligent and interactive environments. Prior to his appointment at RCA, he worked at Warwick University leading research groups in the field of computer science, engineering, social sciences and digital health and wellbeing on a number of research projects (UKRI, EPSRC-JLR, BBSRC, RAEng, ERC, and Catapult). The outcomes were showcased in events such as Science for a Successful Nation and British Science Festival and published in prestigious journals and conferences. He holds a PhD in Engineering, and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Warwick. Asadipour has over a decade of academic and industrial experience, as co-founder and CTO of tech-focused companies managing small and medium sized teams, and holds IP and licences for three innovations.
