To stay ahead of the intensifying competition, retailers must innovate to uplift online experience. While site speed, stability and delivery times are the traditional measures for optimising shopper experience, the provision of best-in-class search is paramount to drive sales and offer a seamless customer journey. Indeed, these AI-powered technologies have wide applications in the fashion industry. Neuromarketing: capturing customer preference through biometric data
In this digital age, businesses are leveraging both explicit and implicit means to profile their customers and build a personalisation strategy. One possible way is to extract customer preference from biometric data including facial expressions, body gestures, and eye movement. In this seminar, Dr. Carman LEE will share an intelligent system for product design and retailing. It comprises a rating predictor system which predicts the rating a customer would give to an item based on biometric data; and a recommender system that provides personalised recommendations to customers based on the rating predictor system.
