Fashion Re[live] @ Mira Place Green Fashion Month
Spreading awareness and promoting the concept of green fashion, AiDLab supported the “FASHION THE FUTURE” Upcycling Fashion Design Competition” organized by Miramar Group. During the event, 10 contestants were on stage to show their fabulous works in transforming textile waste into unique piece of upcycled clothing. Our CEO Prof. Calvin Wong was pleased to be one of the judges for the final judging at the Mira Place. 3 finalists were selected and awarded with a cash prize.
In earlier time, the shortlisted contestants participated in the AiDA training workshop, making good use of Artificial Intelligence Based Fashion Design Assistant (AiDA) as a design tool to assist in their creative process from conception to final outfits, which largely reduced design costs and prototyping wastes. The showpieces haave exhibited with stories behind in the exhibition.
